Transcript: We were victims. They wanted to destroy us and to kill us. And thanks to Tuvia Bielski, our Commander in Chief for the Bielski Brigade; he wanted to save Jews and taking them out from the Ghetto. He came to our town in Lida, today's Belarus, and he spoke to my mother. He wants our family should go and he sends somebody from the woods -- a gentile -- and they took us out. And thanks to the Bielski Brothers, 1200 Jews survived. About five to seven hundred were boys. They could fight and probably they could survive even in the Russian partisans. Now, the 700 -- they wouldn't be alive today. Thanks to the Bielski Brigade, by keeping them there and feeding them. And we used to go and bring the food into supply, and they're alive. This is a big thing, but it was done in our lifetime. And I'm very proud to be a partisan in the Bielski Brigade and thanks to the Bielski Brothers, I'm alive.
