Transcript: It was difficult, that only, I was afraid, because mein, mein girlfriend, she was in other group. I was in other group. If she comes to me, she said, Dora, don't be, don't be stupid. Well, somebody, a partisan wants to have you or something, you're going to have a better life. I said, "Sonja, I'm going, I'm going to die, never, never I do " She had a friend, and he helps her, you know, and he, she, he takes her with horses, she didn't have to work. I said, "I'm going to the last minute, and I, I like be like I am." And I, sure, the partisans say, you know, they come, they want to lay down with you and everything, but I said, it was, you know, like a lieutenant and they take care, they take me, they take care. I was sick, they take me to the woods when I need something and everything. Yeah. But it was correct -- I said, "Sonja, I don't want it, not from me. Don't send me nobody. I don't want friends in the partisans." It was very difficult, you know.
