Transcript: I believe that we played a fundamental role, let's say, in the moral history of our country. It was a time of reaction. I think that it is pointless to have a discussion on military techniques, great strategies, and global divisions, geopolitics and all that that made up the last phase of the second world war. The point does not lie there. The point is civil reaction by those who risked themselves and their existence in a non-passive manner, actively, participating directly with all of the energy that they had, with the experiences that they had, with what they knew how to do, I mean, with that minimal contribution that added up to a mass movement that justifies, justifies or rather leaves a special mark on this page of history. I want them to be remembered as those who make the right choice at the right time. That, beyond the mistakes, weakness, everything that you could say about the human fallibility of a certain movement, beyond all that, they were on the right side, they were on the side of freedom and democracy
