Transcript: We were hoping of liberation. We were hoping that -- I mean, the last couple of months, we knew that the Germans are going down because the radio we had from Russia. So we knew that the Russian Army is near and the American Army is near. We knew everything. So we were hoping that we shouldn't be killed the last minute. But there was quite a few that were killed the last minute. A friend of mine, a girlfriend of mine, right near me. And I was always the one to survive. Why? Why me? I'm always asking that question.
