Transcript: Being a survivor of the Holocaust, you have dual -- dual feelings. Of course, you're happy and proud to have survived, but you also have a certain guilt feeling because why is it me? Why do -- did I survive and not some of my friends, or not my father, not my mother, not my uncles and grandfather? And on the other hand, having been a partisan, I have a feeling that I'm proud of it, and it gives me certain satisfaction that I fought the evil that caused the death of my family and my friends. That sort of offsets the feeling that I've had, the negative feeling of being a survivor.
