Transcript: There were many girls that participated and they participated wonderfully. As a matter of fact, if I can tell you a story of a young girl, Hannale. She was caught on the out on the outskirts of (inaudible) of Lubov with two liters of iodine. Now when the policeman saw that a girl she looked Aryan. You know, she was a beautiful girl with braided blonde, ah, braids, you know, with freckles on her nose, beautiful girl. She must have been 12, 13 years old, no more. And when she was caught with the two liters of iodine, they knew that she is an emissary, that she's a runner for our partisan outfit. So they promised her that they will bring her to her mother and they will give them a house and they will let 'em– she was smart. She knew that this is all promises. They tortured her for two weeks. And all they wanted from her is to bring her to to bring the SS back to our retreat. And she didn't and they finally murdered her. And in 1983, I was in Poland and the combatant is a combatant organization is like a veteran's organization. Has voted to present me with a medal of bravery for my conduct at a time of, you know, Nazi occupation as a partisan. I accepted this medal in the name of that Hannale. And I consider this one of the most glorious moments of my postwar life.
