Transcript: In February of '45, there was a battle at Masino Castle. We were in the Castle when the fascists of Pier Gobbi arrived. There was a fight. We had one dead, they had several. And I think, we ended up with thirteen prisoners. We held these prisoners, they were young boys, even younger than ours, really young boys, with an officer, a tenant. We had orders to hold them because they had to be used for an exchange, an exchange of prisoners in another zone where there were our prisoners, Several, maybe all but certainly some, didn't want to go. They wanted to stay there with us. And we said - sorry, we can't because we have to give you back-they were just kids -, they were taught about the world in a certain way and they saw a completely different reality. They even wanted to become partisans.
