Transcript: Yes, this was the army, which essentially is, I would say, a branch of the Nazi Germany military. They did whatever the Germany army commanded them to do but I must say that the Slovak army had what even I would say a fair approach to the Jews. In general, from the very beginning, in the beginning, there was no discrimination between Slovak soldiers and Jewish soldiers other than one thing, we did not receive weapons. Jews were forbidden to bear arms. We received instead, work tools, a pick and colorful axes, etc. We would do all sorts of jobs, but mainly we set up a batteries, a battery for trains or a batteries against floods, or we were partners in building the tunnels, phone lines, etc. these kinds of things. It was all work.
