Transcript: And they put us all in front of a place and told us all the rules and regulations. That we have to wear a yellow band. We have to walk in the gutter. We cannot walk at night. We have to work whenever they need us. And we have to give them everything that we own, jewelry and things like that. They made a ghetto. Then they picked out two people, one person, out of a trade that they needed and took him out of the ghetto. So my father being a painter, they took him out of the ghetto. So they took us all out of the ghetto. We were outside the ghetto, just in front of the police station. And everybody called us "The Living Jews." My father said, "No, we are not the Living Jews. We are Jews and we will be killed just the same."
