Marisa Diena - A parade for the Partisans
Transcript: There was a long parade in the city streets, a magnificent parade with all of the partisans who marched in their units with their flags. Because the women, among the many other things, made sure that you could no longer find white, red or green fabric in the stores, which are the Italian colors. Because the women made flags, they made sashes, they made arm bands and ... and all that came out at the same time on Liberation Day. And it was magnificent -- the entire crowd, all the people, no one stayed indoors. They were all in the streets, clapping. It was wonderful.
