Transcript: We was sitting in the field, and there was a little tree surrounding, and all of a sudden, a guy came over, an older man, with a piet, and I said, 'Messiah came' and uh, he told us, "What are you sitting here? Why don't you go to this village, and you, uh, the Russians are there?" I said, 'what?' "Well, look, the Russians are here, don't sit here, you're finished, you're free." And we start walking and all of a sudden the Russians start shooting at us. Uh, the military way we walked then they start shooting. They thought it's Germans. And we sent our guy with a white handkerchief, and uhh, he told his partisans, this Jewish partisans, and we met a lot of big officers, Russian officers, and most of them not Jewish, and anyway the ones which showed up to us, and they were so happy, they were kissing us, they were crying, and uh, everyone told us, it was unbelievable, in every village, in every uh small town, there's no Jews left, nobody, everybody killed everybody. It's only morgues. All over there's dead people, dead people and we go on like this. And here is a group of partisans, and they were very happy. They said, "Now you are free."
